The affordable housing schemes are sucking blood of normal servcie class investors with out government monitoring. The govt is missing the participation and earning money through house building worth huge money instead it is allowing private builders to suck the people's blood. It is a pity that Govt has failed to see this gap of demand and supply for service class people. I have been looking for a house between 25-35 L to settle in NCR but in vain. Also the builders show only green models

All housing plots/flats whether developed by any private developer or government agency should be regulated by a single government agency and should be allotted/registered/and handing over by that agency and if some one want to sell his property and don't want to transfer it to blood relative, then this should be acquired by that government agency and further allotted to the needy person so that houses constructed do not remain vacant for years and actual needy persons get their right of house

control land mafia and put ceiling for max selling price as decided by corporation/government with 10% margin. Now government and corporations are hiking rates of urban areas making it impossible for poor and below middle class to get a site. rate should uniform and minimum through out the city limits

Housing for all by 2022 can only be achieved by prohibiting housing sector for investment purpose. This give rise to unjustified prices of houses. If Government completely ban transfer of housing plot/flat except blood relation, this will discourage people who have black money and who invest in property only for holding the same without any use. This will also stop generating black money as in every deal about 30-40% black money is generated in this sector. Therefore, housing only for genuine

Housing loans need 20% down-payment. Considering that the average 2BHK in an A class city costs 40+ lakhs, this means a minimum down payment of 8 lakhs. Would a prospective buyer have 8 lakhs lying around? I doubt it! This only encourages black money transactions.
The hassles of buying a house need to be reduced substantially. Loans, registration, stamp fees, khata transfers... much of it not understood by the average new buyers, and they get cheated by the touts on this. Simplify, simplify
