A copy of the same is available at http://mhupa.gov.in/policies/duepa/HousingPolicy.2007.pdf. 2. What should the State Governments do in achieving the said objective?
3. What should be the role of ULBS’s?
4. What role can the State Housing Boards/Corporations and other state entities play in this objective?
5. What are the key learnings from Urban Local Bodies in implementation of housing programmes?
6. What role can the private sector play in “Housing for All” by 2022?
7. What is the role of industries?
8. What should be the role of individual?
9. How to mobilize financial resources for this objective?
10. What kind of legal and regulatory frameworks are required to facilitate housing in general and “Housing for All” in particular?
11. How can more urban land be made available for housing?
12. How can linkage between employment/livelihood and housing be made more robust?

1 increasing in funding for research in low housing project http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/chennai/IIT-Madras-shows-the-way-in-low-cost-housing/articleshow/45253121.cms 2 lowcost housing cess in property tax 3 proper management of space and resources , i mean making a lakh house in place of slum will not remove slum it will just convert kuccha slum to pakka slum (ex-mankhurd mumbai) near BARC, so proper space and connectivity and less overcrowding.

It is very important to fix some guidelines for states by central government having willingness of smart cities. according to the corruption some states are engaged in making money, because of that people are bound to live like slum .It is an immediate neccecity of developing cities and towns land should be settled down for purposes by ''CHAKBANDI'' without disturbing rights of farmers.farmer have the right to determine the rates sharing with gov as development charge. There should no compromise

1) Govt. should make buildings by demolishing slums, in same area. 2) Slum people should be given flats in such building. 3) 2 floors in basement and 1st and 2nd floor should be made for car parking and should be give for outside cars & collect parking fees. 4) Ground floor should be of commercial shops and given in rent 5) Parking and shop rents should be used to maintain building and resident slum people should stay free of maintenance. 6) Slum areas should be well planned smart city.

I would like to suggest that the Govt should come forward with details of works done/initiated at least once in week. The same may be uploaded on social media, from where we could get compilation of databases for its propagation to others who hardly uses Internet.

Whatever suggestions r given to any sort of govt schemes has to be backed up simultaneously with authorized govt people. It's no use to discuss on this forum abt such a vital & sensitive issue of Urban Housing. On one hand hand, state govt says there's no land available in island city Mumbai & other hand we can see emerging sky high towers funded by BLACK MONEY. I feel central & state govt have contradicted views on common man issues. How a common man with small family wud able to buy home???
