Ajmer, the city rich in heritage and culture in Rajasthan has been selected under the Government of India’s flagship programme – the Smart Cities Mission to submit a Smart City Proposal in the second round. Ajmer Municipal Corporation (AMC) is pleased to inform that they are now in the process of revising their Smart City Proposal to participate in the second round of Smart City Challenge. This process requires extensive citizen participation and stakeholder consultations at multiple levels for formulating a vision statement and strategies for the development of the city.

To succeed in this ambitious target, we request the citizens of Ajmer to provide their valuable suggestions and aspirations regarding the development of the city through this platform. Citizen’s valuable inputs and innovative ideas will help us in developing a sustainable smart city proposal for Ajmer.

We look forward for the active participation of the citizens and request them to share their views in the preparation of the smart city proposal for Ajmer.

Dear Sir, I am P A Cariappa, "Ajmer", has been selected for " Smart City", mission is great but, certain things must be improved. 1) Quality education 2) Employment 3) Basic transportation. 4) Drinking facilities. 5) Ban of Plastics 6) Rain water harvesting. 7) Crime free zone. 8) Good public administration. 9) Online file Transfer. 10)Traffic free zone.
