Bhopal has been shortlisted as an aspirant in the smart cities challenge by Ministry of Urban Development. The state is preparing a Smart City Proposal (SCP) that will include smart city solutions and an outline of the consultations held with the city residents and other stakeholders. Municipal Corporation of Bhopal hereby invites suggestions from citizens of Bhopal for making ‘Bhopal a smart city’. The residents may post their view pertaining to municipal and city services such as water supply, electricity supply, transport, health and educational facilities and city surveillance among others. Residents are encouraged to write the pain areas of the city as well as improvements they’d like to see for making Bhopal a model smart city.

A smart city should have advanced water management programs,including smart meters,rain water harvesting system,& green infrastructure to manage storm water runoff.There is an urgent need of proper drainage management system so that rainfall water could remove efficiently.

पुराने शहर में जिले के कई शासकीय़ कार्यालय़ ऐसे है जहां लोगों की आवाजाही कुछ ज्य़ादा रहती है,लेकिन वहां विघुत व्य़वस्था की लाइनो को देखा जाए तो गंभीरता पर सवालिय़ा निशान लगते है।

ज्यादा बच्चों के होने से उन्हें सारी सुविधायें नहीं दे पाते अच्छा खाना, अच्छे कपड़े और अच्छी शिक्षा से वंचित रह जाते हैं। जिससे हमारे अपने बच्चों में दूसरों के बच्चों को अच्छी सुविधाऐ मिलने के कारण हीन भावना आती है वे अपने आप को छोटे स्तर का महसूस करने लगते हैं और उनका मानसिक विकास में बाधा आती है जिससे वह अपने आप को छोटा और गरीब समझने लगता है

अतिक्रमण एक बहुत बड़ी समस्या है , सभी घरो तथा दुकानों ने सार्वजनिक सड़कों पर अतिक्रमण कर रखा है , जिसे तुरंत मुक्त करवाया जाय , अतिक्रमण के चलते शहर एक दम बदरंग एवम जाम से जूझता रहता है

साथ ही साथ उपयोग के संसाधनो के खर्च को घटाया जा सके तथा अधिक से अधिक लोगों तक इन सेवाओं को पहुंचाना भी आसान हो सके

It is important to remove encroachment from the old streets of Bhopal where people shop next to the shop next to his house I always felt encroached on the road remains to be improved ha there is so much more important to make the plan a little bit there, tough there can be transcended when people stray from

The traffic management needs to be improved not only from traffic policing side but a common user should be sensitized and awareness drive should be conducted.
