Bhopal has been shortlisted as an aspirant in the smart cities challenge by Ministry of Urban Development. The state is preparing a Smart City Proposal (SCP) that will include smart city solutions and an outline of the consultations held with the city residents and other stakeholders. Municipal Corporation of Bhopal hereby invites suggestions from citizens of Bhopal for making ‘Bhopal a smart city’. The residents may post their view pertaining to municipal and city services such as water supply, electricity supply, transport, health and educational facilities and city surveillance among others. Residents are encouraged to write the pain areas of the city as well as improvements they’d like to see for making Bhopal a model smart city.

The IT parks and Industrial park should be introduce to create an employment opportunity for the youth that instead of going in another city for job they can stay here and part in economical development of the city

city should be comprised with advanced public transport, software park, high class medical facilities, job oriented training centres, zero tolerance on crimes, strict traffic rules compliance system, well planned housing complexes etc

It can be clean city to become a smart city my suggestion is that on each road there should be a dustbin side by a road .whashroom should be maked on side of each and every road. Each road should be clean and a colony also ne clean. It can be a wifi city. By making some clean government school so that the poor people child can also get education etc.

use of renewable and solar energy: all street lights should be solar energy enabled. All the high rise buildings should have solar panel installed at top of their roofs to keep them and the city bright in the night.
