Bhopal has been shortlisted as an aspirant in the smart cities challenge by Ministry of Urban Development. The state is preparing a Smart City Proposal (SCP) that will include smart city solutions and an outline of the consultations held with the city residents and other stakeholders. Municipal Corporation of Bhopal hereby invites suggestions from citizens of Bhopal for making ‘Bhopal a smart city’. The residents may post their view pertaining to municipal and city services such as water supply, electricity supply, transport, health and educational facilities and city surveillance among others. Residents are encouraged to write the pain areas of the city as well as improvements they’d like to see for making Bhopal a model smart city.

पुराने शहर में जिले के कई शासकीय़ कार्यालय़ ऐसे है जहां लोगों की आवाजाही कुछ ज्य़ादा रहती है,लेकिन वहां विघुत व्य़वस्था की लाइनो को देखा जाए तो गंभीरता पर सवालिय़ा निशान लगते है। शहर के जिला अस्पताल आदि ऐसे कार्य़ालय़ है जहां बिजली के तार कई जगह लटकते हुए दिखाई देते है,जहा तक की सङको पर भी बिजली के तार लटकते है कई जगह वायरिंग बदलवाने की भी आवश्यकता है ऐसी जगह पर भूमीगत बिजली के तार होने चाहिए।

भोपाल शहर के सभी सिटी बस ऑटो आदि सिर्फ निर्धारित स्टैंड पर ही खड़े होना चाहिए चौराहे पर जैसे नादरा बस स्टेंड,हबिबगंज स्टेसन, काजीकेम्प, रेलवेस्टैंड, अादी में ऑटो बहुत गलत ढग से खड़े होते है इन पर नियत्रण आवश्यक है

underground electric cabling: It is important but now whenever the road is dig there should be adequate provision for space for future use using a machine instead of digging the road every time. There should be coordination among all the departments that essentially get the roads dug up.

शिक्षित व्य़त्कि कम से कम एक घंटे आसपास के निर्धन बच्चो को पढाने मे य़ोगदान दे। इससे निर्धन वर्ग में भी शिक्षित और य़ोग्य़ पीढी तैयार हो सके।

The IT parks and Industrial park should be introduce to create an employment opportunity for the youth that instead of going in another city for job they can stay here and part in economical development of the city

use of renewable and solar energy: all street lights should be solar energy enabled. All the high rise buildings should have solar panel installed at top of their roofs to keep them and the city bright in the night.
