Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) is making all efforts to make citizens comfortable by giving them all infrastructure available to them. The Achievements of NMMC as known to citizens are mentioned below:

• High per capita income and cosmopolitan population
• Higher Education Institutes- Engineering, Management and Medical
• Major industrial area across Thane Belapur Road
• Biggest trading APMC
• Part of Proposed Knowledge Corridor
• Two big Infotech parks and presence of major players in these parks and outside
• Planned Urban Development
• Picturesque coastal area and very green Parsik hill
• Local dialling with the commercial capital

The objective of the consultations with the Citizens of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation is to motivate the people to get involved in the process of development of city into SMART CITY taking advantage of above schemes & to know the views and concerns of the stakeholders about the city. Their views and suggestions will have major contribution in formulating the vision for the city. This is an effort to connect YOU as a citizen to your local Government.

Your responses shall help us incorporate your inputs and emerge as a winner in the list of 10 cities that will undertake the smart city journey from Government of Maharashtra. Ideas are sought related to smart governance, smart information, smart citizens, smart mobility, smart energy etc. which are ecologically friendly, technologically integrated and meticulously planned with a particular reliance on the use of information technology to improve efficiency.

to reduce pollution electric vehicles needs to be introduced with charging points to be facilitated through out city in public parking etc

òur Navi mumbai is the young city with young population. it is the city of free India. it is city created by Independent India. by Indian planners architects engineers labourers administrators politicians without any help of foreners. it also don't carry any legacy of any ruler etc.

Navi Mumbai is bestowed with a diverse ecosystems from woodlands to wetlands. It is imperative for NMMC to safeguard these green corridors while planning smartly for the city. There is need of Nature Park for Navi Mumbai which the CIDCO has been planning for long. The green destinations of Navi Mumbai need to be developed for ecotourism and not restricting people's movement in these areas. There is a need of mangrove walks, Nature Interpretation Centres and better management of the public parks

To make my city smart I would some points. There should be zero pollution, Renewable energy sources to use. Corporation reserves land for farmers to cultivation. Bus transport should be cheaper& at subsidised rates. Public/ municipal school education should be free to attract more children. Green field concept to adopt,Green design concepts:1) Less water use 2) Less use of energy 3) Non polling material. 4) Retains ecological value. To evaluate Source of finance for pop mode

I was glad to be part of NMMCs Happy Street campaign, more and more events like those should be arranged to educate the citizens and bring them closer to the city which will surely be a #SmartCity

My Smart City should be pollution free, corruption free, electricity power failure should not be there and adequate supply of water and electricty should be there, the city should have the best public transport and set an example for others
