Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) is making all efforts to make citizens comfortable by giving them all infrastructure available to them. The Achievements of NMMC as known to citizens are mentioned below:

• High per capita income and cosmopolitan population
• Higher Education Institutes- Engineering, Management and Medical
• Major industrial area across Thane Belapur Road
• Biggest trading APMC
• Part of Proposed Knowledge Corridor
• Two big Infotech parks and presence of major players in these parks and outside
• Planned Urban Development
• Picturesque coastal area and very green Parsik hill
• Local dialling with the commercial capital

The objective of the consultations with the Citizens of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation is to motivate the people to get involved in the process of development of city into SMART CITY taking advantage of above schemes & to know the views and concerns of the stakeholders about the city. Their views and suggestions will have major contribution in formulating the vision for the city. This is an effort to connect YOU as a citizen to your local Government.

Your responses shall help us incorporate your inputs and emerge as a winner in the list of 10 cities that will undertake the smart city journey from Government of Maharashtra. Ideas are sought related to smart governance, smart information, smart citizens, smart mobility, smart energy etc. which are ecologically friendly, technologically integrated and meticulously planned with a particular reliance on the use of information technology to improve efficiency.

Skills should be developed in every kids which should start from school. Why can't govt school every day have 1 class dedicated to develop skills of kids like potry art sports writing cooking electrical mechanical digital class. More number of parents will come forward to send their kids to school because they will be learning a skill to have a good future and skill to develop to earn income once they finish. A skilled India and educated class of India will be the future of our country.

HAPPY TO KNOW THAT OUR CITY IS GOING TO BE SMART 1.Most of the accidents are due to undisciplined traffic. Time is something which is making us not to follow the rules. Best way is to start early and follow the rules to avoid accidents and more delay in traffic by not following the rules. 2. SAFETY OF WOMAN 3. BE AWARE ABOUT POOR PEOPLE PROVIED SMALL HOUSE FOR HOUSE LESS PEOPLE 4. CLENESS OF CITY THESE ALL ARE MY OPNION

rain water harvesting in all gov. buildings like railway stations and airport and also in residential buildings... proper disposal of solid waste which requires their plants to convert waste into electricity...

Free good surfacing footpaths to be developed.Public Transport like buses and trains should be improved. There are no proper timings of the buses. The footpaths are turned into a toilet for dogs. Many of the pet owners bring their pets on the footpath for poo. Trees are not trimmed properly. Drainage covers are missing. Roads should be wider so that the traffic can pass easily.

Please expedite and streamline the procedure of complaint redressing . I complained to NMMC licence department on 2nd July 2014 about unlicensed unauthorised hoardings and neon signs on Vashi Plaza premises. Action taken against one hoarding only on 30th July 2015 after continuous follow up with commissioner level , all other hoardings and neon signs continue without any licenses and permission from Vashi Plaza Society . Is this the way to becoming #smartcity #smartnavimumbai #MyGov

For any smart city energy is a big concern. Since now a lot of new buildings would come up, I feel most of those buildings should have solar panels installed to make the city energy sufficient or maybe even surplus. For this LED bulbs can also be used,Goverment of Maharshtra has introduced DELP (Domestic Efficient Lighting Programme) under this scheme the govt is looking to provide LED bulbs at lower prices than the current retail price. This will help peple to save there electicity bills.

नवी मुंबई स्मार्ट बनविण्यासाठी सुरक्षेच्या दृष्टीने मुख्य ठिकाणी CCTV. कॅमेर बसविणे आवश्यक आहे तसेच विविध उद्यानें विकसित झाली पाहिजे आरोग्याच्यादृष्टीने अजून चागले हॉस्पिटल पाहिजे .खेळण्यासाठी मैदानेही पाहिजे. योजना विभागात विविध चागल्या योजना राबवाव्या नवी मुंबईतील शालेय जीवन सुधारले पाहिजे.
