Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) is making all efforts to make citizens comfortable by giving them all infrastructure available to them. The Achievements of NMMC as known to citizens are mentioned below:

• High per capita income and cosmopolitan population
• Higher Education Institutes- Engineering, Management and Medical
• Major industrial area across Thane Belapur Road
• Biggest trading APMC
• Part of Proposed Knowledge Corridor
• Two big Infotech parks and presence of major players in these parks and outside
• Planned Urban Development
• Picturesque coastal area and very green Parsik hill
• Local dialling with the commercial capital

The objective of the consultations with the Citizens of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation is to motivate the people to get involved in the process of development of city into SMART CITY taking advantage of above schemes & to know the views and concerns of the stakeholders about the city. Their views and suggestions will have major contribution in formulating the vision for the city. This is an effort to connect YOU as a citizen to your local Government.

Your responses shall help us incorporate your inputs and emerge as a winner in the list of 10 cities that will undertake the smart city journey from Government of Maharashtra. Ideas are sought related to smart governance, smart information, smart citizens, smart mobility, smart energy etc. which are ecologically friendly, technologically integrated and meticulously planned with a particular reliance on the use of information technology to improve efficiency.

As these days dangerous waste of electronics items like cell phones their accessories, other electronic goods , are being thrown away indiscriminately.Many of them contain toxic chemicals like mercury & other metal compoaunds. Research needs to be done on the disposal of such E-wastes so that it should not harm environment & people.

Govt should focus on; 1. Teach discipline to citizens as they are undisciplined, 2. tree plantation, as abad is having very less trees in the city. 3. Proper city planning for infrastructure. 4. Neat & Clean Roads 5. Water supply as is always suffers from Drought. 6. Our leaders should be reviewed by PM for the progress.

Following are main problems to be concentrated. 1.Wider Roads. 2.Centralized Traffic control system . 3.Proper drainage system. 4.Gyms and parks should be at the same place. 4.Libraries and Stadiums should be at the same place. 5.buildings should be constructed in a proper way like rows and and columns not as they wish. 6.Centralized power grids to save power effectively on area wise. 7.Industries should be far away from living places. 8.Metro Connectivity to all Industries from home .

नवी मुंबई क्षेत्रातील MIDC च्या जागेवर असलेल्या झोपडपट्ट्या हटवून तेथे त्यांना चांगली घरे बांधून देऊन, मोकळ्या झालेल्या जागेवर लोकोपयोगी प्रकल्प राबवावेत. उदा. रुग्णालय, पार्किंग व्यवस्था, उद्याने, महाविद्यालये, शासकीय रुग्णालये, इ. साठी सदरची जागा वापरल्यास शहर सुशोभित होईल व नागरिकांनाही चांग्लाय सेवा-सुविधा मिळतील.

तुर्भे ते महापे MIDC तुन जाणारा रस्ता पावसाळयात खुप खराब होतो तो सीमेंट कांँक्रीट करावा

Please make separate road for the ambulance in all metro cities...Thousands of patients dies in ambulance in traffic... & Fire Briged Vehicles Also Because Local Public :--- Ab Kyun Aaye Ho? Sab Kutch Jal Ke Raakh Ho Gaya. firefighter man :--- Im Sorry Sir, Bahot Traffic Tha.

नवी मुंबई शहर हे 21 व्या शतकातील सुनियोजित शहर असून,या शहरात वाहतुक कोंडी, हवा प्रदुषण, पाणी समस्या आम्हाला भेडसावत नाहीत. परंतु, रुग्णवाहिकेसाठी स्वतंत्र मार्गिका असावी जेणेकरुन कोणत्याही अडथळ्याविना रुग्णांना तात्काळ रुग्णालयात पोहचून वेळीच सर्व वैद्यकीय उपचार मिळू शकतील. त्यामुळे त्या रुग्णाचे प्राण वाचतील. तसेच, प्रत्येक अल्प उत्पन्न रहिवासी क्षेत्रात सुपरस्पेशालिटी हॉस्पिटल निशुल्क किंवा कमी दरात असावे, जेणेकरुन गरिबांचे प्राण वाचतील.

According to me, Security of the citizens, cleanliness and hygiene of the city , ease and affordability in public transportation facilities and ample area for parks and gardens are essential for Navi Mumbai to become Smart City.
