Ic it is the responsibility of civil authorities to provide cycling lanes near roads just as in Europe and to provide separate parking facilities for cycles. Children can safely travel by cycles to schools, sport centres and tuitions. Now kids are even using scooters or are dropped by parents due to heavy traffic on roads. There is increased obesity among children. Also this will encourage to use cycle as a mode of transportation among adults.

Need a common junction over harbor railway line for Trans harbor and harbor line trains.
If the junction is built over harbor line then both people who want to go either vashi or nerul from thane may use the same train and can change over at the junction for further journey. This help to save the time of people, hence the railway services also utilize properly.

Transport services could be better. Buses and trains are never on time. Infact,in spite of having a fixed schedule or fixed intervals, the buses don't usually arrive on time. We cannot rely on the transport to reach anywhere on time.

Navi Mumbai is definitely the most beautiful place. There are of course various issues. The amount of street dogs wandering on the streets need to be reduced. They can be given shelter somewhere and be fed.
Buses and trains have always had timing issues. Also, the auto rickshaw drivers argue a lot to take the passengers to their destinations. There's only a few destinations that give them huge fare that they will take you to. It makes it difficult for new comers.

In my view, Navi Mumbai is better than Mumbai in terms of green cover, public amenities and traffic.
Work needs to be done in the following matters:
1)Frequency of transport (trains and buses)
2) Repairing/building foothpaths and reclaiming the once taken away by hawkers
3) Cleaning Mangroves
4) Proper management of garbage disposal system (dustbins on every road which are cleaned regularly)

There is a lack of cleanliness in some parts of Navi Mumbai... Also the railway frequency should b increased during peak hours... The trains are never on time... Also the in city roads must be maintained properly...
