Cleanliness is lacking in Navimumbai.Bring law so that every commercial owner is penalized for not keeping his surroundings clean.Eg:There are hundreds of sweet shops ,selling snacks - and throwing the litter on the roads.Let NMMC bring a cleanliness number wherein active citizens can upload the photos so that NMMC can penalise the shopowners commercially.
2.Footpaths are occupied by shopowners.NMMC shud penalise.3.AlsoNMMC should keep a tab on complaints recorded in newspapers (reader columns)

1.Parking is a major issue in all nodes of Navimumbai.Have parking zones in desginated grounds and make atleast two hours - no parking zone in commercial areas- or no vehicle zone.
2.Rampant digging of roads goes on@ navimumbai.Have a centralised duct and give it on rent to the utilities providers.3.Nerul west lacks greenery ,one can see only concrete buildings- have jogging track in playgrounds- eg :NMMC Playground in Sector 46A,nerul can be converted into a beautiful jogging track&playground

I would like to draw the attention of the authorities in Kharghar area of NaviMumbai toward few of the problems resident are facing.
1) Encroahcment on the footpaths by hawkers and the shop ownners.
2) The canal made for water during monsoon is becoming dumping place for shop owners for dumping their daily waste, becoming a breeding place for dengue and malaria.
3)No parking on shilp chowk forcing people to left vehicles on road. Why not Cover the water canal and made parking above that.

For a smart city, having smart public transport is essential.Nowadays public use lesser NMMT buses due to uncertainty in arrival times or at odd times. It is essential to provide public information about bus arrivals at their stop. Digital screens should be provided at major bus stops which indicate real-time arrival of buses. This can be done by linking the bus' actual location with the arrival time. It will lead to more people using buses and will reduce traffic at major junctions in the city.

An early action is required to chalk out plans and prepare Report card to achieve Service Level Bench Marks (covering 24 features and the indicators) stipulated by MoUD, GoI for Smart City Planning. Dovetailing the applications of spatial technologies such as GPS and Remote Sensing , etc will enhance the smart functioning of the city.

Properly developed Information System is the need of the hour for Navi Mumbai. This can be achieved by adopting Geographical information System (GIS) by NMMC and CIDCO for creation of database, planning, monitoring and maintenance of infrastructures and services. There should be an in-house mechanism (hardware, software, humanware & dataware) within NMMC, to handle the issues through GIS platform, as most of the infrastructures, facilities and services are connected with some piece of geography.

2. Sufficient Water supply
3. Sufficient and efficient Public health system
4. Pot hole free roads & Non-Paveblock junctions
5. Strict implementation of traffic rules and automatic penalty charging system
6. Efficient & prompt public transport system

should make navi mumbai slum free. navi mumbai is not yet developed properly.
some part is fully developed and rest is full of slum.
specific ward no 1,2,3,4 which are entry point of Navi Mumbai from Thane side.
local politician developing illegal construction over there and no one varied about it.
So requesting you to should look at this area and plan SRA schema over there. otherwise one part of navi mumbai will like heaven and rest like hell.provide
government hospital for poor.
