Saharanpur being a historically and strategically important city in Uttar Pradesh has been nominated as a participant in Smart City Mission by Government of India. Smart City Proposals for Saharanpur are to be framed for the third round after not figuring in the first twenty, fast tracked category and second round. One of the most important reasons for this was insufficient Citizen Participation.

Revision in the Smart City Proposals for third round has started in furtherance of the observations sent by Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India. Hence, Saharanpur Nagar Nigam seeks to obtain your valuable suggestions from individuals/organizations for gap identification and evolving vision & goals for preparation of proposals.
