Suggestions/Ideas invited for leveraging the open space in Raipur for community based activities as part of 36 Chhattisgarhi project under Raipur Smart City.

‘36 Chhattisgarhi’ is a project under Raipur Smart City which is a true representation of collaboration amongst the Community and government. More Raipur City Centre (MRCC) will increase its green space cover within the city by innovative projects such as creating elevated green corridors, connecting open spaces and green strips along roads, involve citizens through 36 Chhattisgarhi which is a flagship project of place making in urban space.36 Smart Communities Project will be proposed and will be implemented across MRCC. This is another example of behavioral change and direct citizen participation in planning and execution processes.

Citizens to decide which areas require low-cost high-impact transformation and rejuvenation through participatory place-making.

Few Ideas: Outdoor Redevelopment of Motibagh, Neelabh Garden, Collectorate Park, Gandhi Maidan and Dharna Sthal (Amphitheatre), OXY theme park, Open Gym, Contemporary Art Park, More Chaupal (More Chaupal, is a model for a low cost, conversion of small and underutilized residual spaces, for the passive or active recreation of people. It is replicable unit for public access points aimed at digital and social inclusion. Chaupal will have Power Source with Internet, Chairs, Shade areas, Tea, Utility Shop), NMT tracks connecting green spaces & sports facilities, Elevated Walkway, Cycling & Jogging Tracks, Healthy Heart Track, Collaborative Parking etc.

Chhattisgarh is no doubt growing at very fast phase ,especially Naya Raipur set a remarkable mark in the history of Chhattisgarh and is first integrated township , but I wonder if these efforts 'r made for Naya Raipur then why not Raipur itself? No proper sewage system , people throw garbage anywhere 'ey wish to ,lack of control on traffic by shortage of traffic police ,no boards or marks of areas it becomes tuff for any outsider to recognise roads and areas,childlabour,illegal weopans,beershop.

Every residential project with more than 10 houses should have a Compost Pit for disposal of Organic waste and local bodies for its promotion to existing Housing colonies can provide some concession on Property tax on residential Properties. This will reduce waste save cost on waste disposal and need for land for either waste disposal or dumping yards also a network of volunteers, groups buying this compost would create additional income for these housing societies

There is no proper municipal waste disposal facility established in the city our team want to establish a plasma gasification plant as a startup idea need a support from central government all blue print and presentation idea prepared eagerly to present our idea

the city need greenery so that it could survive the effect of climate change and waste disposal is worst and need to be managed in a better way and finally the water harvesting units needed in every premises possible.

Dear Sir, Chattisgarh is herbs rich state.In the planning of the raipur smart city as I see in the details there is the provision for the chaupals so my advise is that make the herbal chaupals which will help the TRIBES of the state significantly because they do not know where they have to sale the herbs and also they will get the better price. The chaupals should be well connected like internet,ATM etc. and they should we well advertided through social media.
