Prioritize banks with high NPAs and tag them with the lending to robust growth sectors like Real estate, capital goods, food processing, food and beverages, entertainment and advertising industry, travel and tourism and more. All banks set up a corpus and set up percentage contribution to competitive sectors like aviation, IT, and set up derivatives contracts for forex based scenarios.

Dear Sir, We see two or three public banks just beside each other or in proximity of 100 mtrs . They competing against each other and not making significant gains. Requesting you to please look into this issue . Requesting you to please reduce no of branches to improve performance .

Strengthening of Bank Boards is the most important need in present scenario. The Independent Directors in the board of banks should be appointed only through a thorough Interview process and not by reference.

It's imperative to avoid falling for 'quick-fix' approaches: they invariably get unstuck when stress-tested, so, unsustainable. Against the fore-going, the "first" steps to be taken are: (1.)Re-structure into a Management by Objectives model. (2.) Principal Objective needs to be "Down-sizing" into more "manageable" units: each unit to be charged with clearly specific and targets-based, performance-measurable objectives.(3)Branches should have the best suited objectives-mix for target Clients.

Try to decide interest rate with top 10 performing private companies based on share market with a more robust index. Provide incentives to the goldsmith community by having tie ups for better gold mobilization strategy. Have ties up with foreign banks through Indian based foreign banks like ICICI to ease foreign exchange needs for better exchange rates and ease of availability of service. Maintain different rates for different sectors based on index determination mentioned above.

Promotions only on the basis of performance and annual apprisal. All political/Communal trade Unions shall be banned. First and primarily the bankers/employees of Nationalised banks (ESPECIALLY SBI (all state banks) GROUP) should be 1. VERY FRIENDLY with the customers. - they should be trained and educated regularly so that they wont forget how to give good service to the customers. 2. The number of staffs needs to be more as it may be very hectic for them to manage the large number of customers. 3. They should be helpful to farmers and should not make farmers to run for loans unnecessarily.

1.Start short term compound interest schemes for big amounts (eg.1000000 deposits). 2.Charge atleast rupees 2 for every ATM transaction and ensure that no service is free. 3.Have tie-ups with telecom companies with their apps and attract their deposits on a agreement basis 4.Achieve more current account targets to SMEs with smaller limits rather than pressing for rate cuts. 5.Make very high efforts to ensure no farmer goes without capital especially for capital goods like tractors and tiller
