First of all gov. Sponsored schemes should be modified and banks should lend the state or cent. Gov. Or to the body for governing scheme and repayment should come from that body in tie up. By that the npa will come down. Second is there should be one time fee to meet initial cost of passbook atm cheq book etc. As there is a requisit fee in all gov. Dep. To meet the initial cost of reg. Etc. Then why not in banks. These two things will definetly improve the profitability of psu banks. Thanx

Dear PM Sir, 1)-Quota system should be abolished and staff should be appointed based on skill & experience. 2) Semi privatization of the public sector banks.Key positions should be held by professionals from private sectors 3) Fixing accountability in writing with penal clause in case of non-delivery of services for each position. 4)Time bound services should be introduced. 5) Strikes should be banned as it effects the financial structure of a country,Democracy does not means strike

Corporate got frustrated with the time lag and lots of paper work required to sanction the credit facilities in Public Sector Banks. Though Private finance institutions charge high interest rates, corporate went for private finance. Also sanctioning power of BM, RM & others should be increased to minimize steps and speedy sanction.

Second thing seems to be very petty, but it will improve the image of psb. The ICICI bank is having token system to avoid long queue at the counter. A computerized machine issues tokens. Till his/her turn, the customer will be waiting relaxedly on the benches in waiting hall reading newspaper/magazines. Whereas in psb there will be a 'q' formation early in the morning, before opening of the counter. This can be avoided by installing electronic token system as in ICICI bank.

TMT of PSBs is full of those people whose contributions were more in non-banking performance. Thanks to hyper activities of vigilance which has become counter productive rather deterrent. Now it is high time to have a mix of Intelligencia of new generation and experience of veterans. I suggest accountability for non performers, those in vigilance for becoming hurdles and appropriate reward to those who contributed positively. HRD should mean devo. and dumping division.

First of all, the pay in slips reciepts given to the customers must be electronic form, rather the conventional type of writing the reciept by the customers and then stamping it by banks. Cross checking requires time by the officers, besides they will be not sure always whether the cross check is always right. If electronic receipt is introduced, then customer will know what actually entered in computer, and the bank officer will not have worries of cross checking.

Public sector Banks suffering with manpower shortage in rular area also suffering with skiiled manpower. Public sector Banks are not focus on cutomer satisfation so it's nacessary to focus on customer satisfaction with enough skilled staff. Public sector Banks should focus on rular banking with enough skilled manpower. As per my view first step for public sector banks to i mprove service with customer satisfaction.

please stop portraying indian male as sex predator. Indian women are infact misusing these laws.. shame on the government and army decision of sack8ng bus driver and conductor and sacking the boys from army job.. shame unfair policing... shame womenised system.. shame the women appeasement policy

performance depends on the service provided and service can be given if there are ample no of staff .In every public sector bank there are only one or two officer and cleark.so even after sitting late night in the bank branch manager unable to satisfy customers and higher authorities are putting everything on BM so mistakes are also done and these prevails for comtng sucide to BM .So RBI should form staff regulation for min no staff in a branch.Banking should not be only target based

the managements of all public sector banks are pressurised by the stellar performances of their private counterparts to go in for credit growth at all costs, never caring about the economic viability of such assets. I propose that the performances of the bank executives be judged from the asset quality over a period of 3-5 years from the date those assets were financed. At present executives are penalised for not achieving their loan budgets which leads to overfinancing.
