Suggestions Invited for Monthly themes to be taken as part of the celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until ...

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until October 2, 2020 from October 2, 2018 onwards. Mahatma Gandhi in his seminal book, Constructive Programme Its Meaning and Place had talked about 18 constructive programmes. He had stressed that more programmes could be added as time passed. The 18 constructive programmes included: Communal Unity; Removal of Untouchability; Prohibition; Khadi; Village Industries; Village Sanitation ; Nai Talim or Basic Education; Adult Education; Women; Knowledge of Health and Hygiene; Provincial languages; National Language; Economic Equality; Kisans; Labour; Adivasis; Lepers ; Students.

By involving the above 18 themes in 18 months, six more months would be remaining.

Ideas are invited from the citizens on six more themes to be taken in six months. The ideas should be relevant for our contemporary society.

Those who submit the best themes could be given certificates

DDear PM Namaskar Myself Ashok Arora I got retired in October 2017 as Sr Manager from Allahabad Bank I served my institution for 33 years On the last day of my retirement I was showcaused for the act I have never committed My funds due were withheld I was badly indebted and unable to make both ends meet with my pension funds received in part Despite my repeated requests my case is not being solved My request to your goodness is help me in getting my funds due without further delay Regards

Dear Modi Ji, i would like and suggest you to initiate Topic of Farmer and and Farming in India, as people have mindset about Farmers,that they are Poor and sad but actual situation is very much different, and our younger population are loosing interest in Farming. when young Indian will join farming, overall growth of country will go in best way, as traditional India before a century ago World attracted towards India for its Farm productions and Ayurveda only.

Respected PM Shahib . This is about the employess & their family of the two department which come under you .I would like to tell you that these employess give thier whole life.but because of stress and many other factors like exposer of radition and other factors these emplyoess and thier children face many deformaties and diasablities .They are looked after in thier respected hospitals with a lot of care.but after retiermentwhat happens in thier repective city civil hospitals is hopeless.

Children are the most important national asset.Engaging them in several hazardous factories would impede the growth of India in the long run.Though India is a founding member of ILO yet to our misfortune,child labour exists.In our Constitution,Art.45 speaks of compulsory education&Art.24 prohibits employment of children,but we lack in it's implementation.Thus,this Gandhi Jayanthi,I suggest strict implementation of these two constitutional provisions by taking "Child labour" as a theme.

In view of our contemporary society, the best theme can be for the "protection of women and promotion of their safety". Unfortunately world is the most unsafe place for women. Thus, i want to suggest that this Gandhi Jayanthi SHE TEAMS which are available in Hyderabad, must be made available to people in every district and every state to ensure better safety and security of women.

जिन चीजो की जरूरत है उसमे तो पैसा खर्च नही करेंगे,बस फालतू की चीजों में पैसा खर्च करो,अरे पेट्रोल का जो कर्ज आ रहा है उसे ही पटा दो तो कम से कम वो तो सस्ता हो जाये, highway बनाने में लगे है शहरों की सड़को की हालात खराब है,खाना मंहगा हो गया है,सस्ता हुआ तो क्या मोबाइल ओर internet, और मजे की बात तो ये है कि इस इंटरनेट के जल में युवाओ को ऐसा फसाया है,उनको ऐसी लत लग गयी ह की वो खाना खाये बिना रह सकते पर इंटरनेट के बिना नही,वाह रे वाह सरकार,

अरे थोड़ा commonsense बचा हो तो उस पैसे से रोजगार develop करो नाकि wifi, जमीनी लेवेल पर रहकर development हो ,लोगों को क्या चाहिए ,लोगों की सबसे पहले क्या जरूरत है उस बात का पहले development तो कुछ बात बने,
