Suggestions Invited for Monthly themes to be taken as part of the celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until ...

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until October 2, 2020 from October 2, 2018 onwards. Mahatma Gandhi in his seminal book, Constructive Programme Its Meaning and Place had talked about 18 constructive programmes. He had stressed that more programmes could be added as time passed. The 18 constructive programmes included: Communal Unity; Removal of Untouchability; Prohibition; Khadi; Village Industries; Village Sanitation ; Nai Talim or Basic Education; Adult Education; Women; Knowledge of Health and Hygiene; Provincial languages; National Language; Economic Equality; Kisans; Labour; Adivasis; Lepers ; Students.

By involving the above 18 themes in 18 months, six more months would be remaining.

Ideas are invited from the citizens on six more themes to be taken in six months. The ideas should be relevant for our contemporary society.

Those who submit the best themes could be given certificates

Last date of submission is 15th June, 2018, 05:00PM

सर् प्रणाम, मेरी एक प्राथना है कि भारतीय रेल की ब्यबस्था को ठीक करने की तरफ को भारत सरकार क्या कर रही है जहाँ तक मेरा अनुभब है कि रेल ब्यबस्था में कोई भी सुधार नही देखने को मिला है पहले ऑनलाइन टिकट आसानी से प्राप्त हो जाता था लेकिन अब ऑनलाइन टिकट लेने में काफी परशानी का सामना करना पड़ता है जब कि हमारी गवर्नमेंट ने ऑनलाइन कोटा 25%से बराकर 76%कर दिया है इस मे कहा कमी है पता किया जाये धन्यबाद

sir this is my first post on this my govsite,first of all i like to thank you sir(SRI NARENDRA MODI JI)THAT YOU GAVE US SUCH AN EXPRESSIVE PLATFORM TO OUR YOUTH THAT WE ARE LIKE TO BEING SEEING AND OBSEREVE BY SOMEONE.SIR MY CONCERN WAS ON THE HUGE AMOUNT OF MIGRATION OF THE RURAL PEOPLE WHICH CREATE A KIND OF OVERLOADING IN THE CITIES SO I ONLY SAID ON THIS MATTER IS PROVIDE WELL DEVELOPED RESOURCES SO THEY ARE NOT BOUND TO MIGRATE TO THE CITIES AND THEY GET EQUAL FACILITIES.AS M.GANDHI SAID

Just pehel yojana of giving up gas subsidy, why not the highly intelectual people belonging ST, SC and OBCs give up their reservation quota benefits in all government , educational etc fields so that their own fellow personal gets the benefits and the reservation benefits reached the last person having the right to equality . and on one good day we can overcome reservation facilities ...

Dear PM Sir, My worry is regarding FCI and Mandi ware houses, the situation is very pathetic most of the places and thousands tons of food getting waste due to lack of ware houses and mis management. we can save plenty of food by maintaining proper ware houses. Pls look the issue.

hello sir Namaste I am a college student and I have seen the working of college if you don't mind could I say you? that there is no any lab activities due to this we are just studying the theory due to this most of the college student become bored and due to this they left studying after 10. if they are given a platform where they could use theory that they study in their books and will be excited to study further other there will not be good development of the country without this
