Animals are a part of our earth family and you don't mistreat a family member. The logic is simple.According to science,we are a species which have developed much later than the others. In fact, if the Earth is taken to be formed within 24 hrs then we humans have arrived only a few seconds ago on this scene. So, how can we express ourselves as dominant? But the sad part is, we still continue to dominate the other species and by doing so we are not only disturbing the nature's balance but are also harming ourselves.
Living in harmony with the other creatures will enhance our life and make our planet a beautiful place to live in.All the organisms, be it carnivores, herbivores etc ,have their own roles in the entire cycle of life and food chain.Disturbance in any portion of the chain affects the other. Therefore, we need to take care of the other animals in order to live a happy and sustainable life. Moreover, treating animals well helps us to build a strong relation of love and bonding.

Animal welfare or treating animals well is important because there are so many animals around the world suffering from being used for entertainment, food, medicine, fashion, scientific advancement, and as exotic pets. Every animal deserves to have a good life and treated well.
We should love and care animals like own kids.
