As many species have been extincted from India.. few species are endangered Our responsibility is to protect the endangered species. Like tigers , cheetahs, lions, elephants and all.. proper care should be taken while protecting the wild life like. Arranging more number of trees and environment filled national parks and zoo parks .And animals should be taken minimum care. As we know the lions in Nehru Zoological park have been infected with " covid " Later cured . But if there would be serious illness among them.it would be a great ecological loss to us. so taking proper care maintaining hygiene and taking care of their health is quite important.Save animals to save the country's ecology Conclusion : "Be the change that you want to see in the society"

Animals are very important for the ecosystem . directly or indirectly we are dependent upon them we have also seen many times that animals get attached to human very easily we must adopt friendly approach towards th em as we have heart in gita ramayan how animal are the key part of every fight similarly they are key part of our survival

In India, humans and animals have co-existed, caring for one another, for millenia. So, it is painful to note how that rich legacy is tarnished from time to time by acts of physical violence, emotional abuse and life-threatening neglect, particularly in our cities but also farms. The animals that are most frequently reported as being victims of animal cruelty are dogs, cats, horses, and farm animals. According to a report published by the Federation of Indian Animal Protection Organizations (FIAPO) and All Creatures Great and Small (ACGS), a total of 4,93,910 animals became victims of crimes committed by humans between 2010 and 2020. Of these, over 2,300 were incidents of gruesome and intentional acts of violence that led to the animal’s death or irreparable harm. This may not include farm animals which are usually outside the purview of animal cruelty laws or have fewer legal protections than domestic pets do.

World Animal Protection has a multi-pronged approach to improving the lives of animals. Our programs include protecting animals in the wild and creating a better quality of life for animals in farming. Animal welfare refers to the quality of life experienced by an animal and encompasses how well the animal is coping with his or her current situation and surroundings. World Animal Protection believes animal welfare is affected by the relationships human beings have with animals and we must ensure all animals are treated humanely, responsibly, and with respect. Around the world, we work with corporations to implement robust animal welfare policies ending the use of wild animals for entertainment and the exotic pet trade. We also encourage people to reduce the amount of cruelly produced factory-farmed meat they eat and work with meat suppliers to implement higher animal welfare practices, eliminating some of the worst cruelties farmed animals face today.

Respected Sir/Madam, First suggestion is to avoid use of word ‘Animal’. This word has an element of negativity. Every ‘Life is a Being’. There should be respect for every ‘Being’. Two types of ‘Beings’ :- Human Being मानव प्राणी (मनुष्य) Nature Being प्रकृति प्राणी (जानवर) Nature Beings should be used and not Animals. Coexistence of all ‘Beings’ is integral to Indian Culture. Animal welfare is important because there are so many animals around the world suffering from being used for entertainment, food, medicine, fashion, scientific advancement, and as exotic pets. Every animal deserves to have a good life where they enjoy the benefits of the Five Domains. Nutrition – factors that involve the animal’s access to sufficient, balanced, varied, and clean food and water. Environment – factors that enable comfort through temperature, substrate, space, air, odor, noise, and predictability. Health – factors that enable good health through the absence of disease, injury, or impairment with a good fitness level. Behavior – factors that provide varied, novel, and engaging environmental challenges through sensory inputs, exploration, foraging, bonding, playing, retreating, and others. Mental State – by presenting positive situations in the previous four functional domains, the mental state of the animal should benefit from predominantly positive states.

The animal welfare debate includes unresolved key issues, like defining animal welfare principles and requirements in legislation and private standards, practically implementing and measuring them and ways to most efficiently support them through public and/or private means. In this chapter, different definitions of animal welfare are explored. Improved legislation and rules are discussed, with a focus on organic farming. The chapter then proposes more outcome-oriented approaches to assess animal welfare, including also avenues to involve consumers and market actors in the development of commercial products with a high level of animal welfare. The role of policymakers, legislators, and private standard-setters is emphasized for the development of clear and easy-to-implement animal welfare rules, including both farmers self-assessments and third-party certification. At last, financial rewards and innovation for animal-welfare-friendly husbandry and assessment systems will play a role.

Animal welfare was identified as a priority when OIE Member Countries mandated the organization to take the lead internationally on animal welfare and to elaborate standards and guidelines covering animal welfare practices. This is all the more relevant to the OIE since animal health is a key component of animal welfare. The Permanent Animal Welfare Working Group was inaugurated at the 70th World Assembly of Delegates in May 2002. To date, the OIE has developed welfare standards both for terrestrial and aquatic animals. These encompass the transport of animals by land, sea, and air, the slaughter of animals, the killing of animals for disease control purposes, the control of stray dog population, the use of animals in research and education, and livestock production systems. The next standards to be developed are on dairy cows and later hens and pig production systems, working animals as well as disaster management and risk reduction in relation to animal health and welfare.

Hello everyone, Here I am going to share my views on importance of treating Every Single species with consciousness. As we are in an era where we are close to know the cause behind existence of us and the idea of theory of evolution can also be seen in Indian beliefs and different incarnation of Shree Vishnu. By that opinion the multicellular or complex life begin with the aquatic animals and slowly they evolved to today's present every single species. Every single species used their own idea of survival to develop themselves and made the Almighty to let it evolve that way and it used only the pure idea full of thoughts. Like bat use the ultrasonic wave to feel the object in the path the que is who installed that? Similarly cheetah is the fastest animal, snake has got the venom, and every animal has some of its quality and we must learn from them that what you think what you wish with purest of the thoughts you get it sooner or later. Naming cheetah would add values to their quality.

The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.As long as people think that animals don't feel, animals will have to feel that people don't think.They will feel good about humans ,they will think that people are not unkind . Is that shows humanity ,it shows that we live together in this world with humanity
