Animals once extinct are gone forever. Scientists can create replicas, but we can never see those animals in their full valour again. Today we can only see pictures of dodo and moa. We need to treat animals well because they sustain the ecosystem and food chain. National parks and sanctuaries are not inexpensive or easy to maintain, Nature would have protected animals for free, but abnormal human interference has resulted in destruction of their natural habitat, leaving them vulnerable. We are supposed to co-exist with animals, not exploit them for our interests. Animals like Cheetah are on top of the foodchain. Not protecting them would only lead to the rapid increase in the number of plant eaters, disturbing the balance made by Nature. Cheetahs are powerful and fast, they are meant to run in the wild, hunt and feed their cubs. Anything less than that can affect their health. Releasing them once again in forest is a wise decision by GOI. It's a second chance for all of us.

Animals are part of the natural ecosystem. Each and every animal including humans, have to play their role in nature. Animals whether carnivores, herbivores or omnivores. Everyone plays a crucial role in natural food chain, any deviation in balance, can lead to adverse effect in nature, which indirectly affects humans. Animals hold, equally rightful owner just like humans of this world. As Humans are blessed with sharp mind and skills, it is outmost duty to take care of the needy(animals)/ the being that can't express themselves. Plus, as mentioned above, perfectly balanced nature helps to remedy pertinent issues like climate change.
