The first inflight connectivity revolution is already well advanced. Airlines are investing heavily in the latest satellite broadband and connectivity technologies in order to meet growing passenger expectations for fast, reliable and consistent Wi-Fi digital services on any aircraft, anywhere in the world. Please check the PDF attached, containing the idea I suggested through CONNECTIFY AIR, my startup. Raunak Nayak. Electrical Engineer.

It is a welcome initiative but proper planning to be done to implement this wonderful idea. As passengers should not have problem to this as well as it should be able to provide hassle free voice data and video connectivity. Proper care to be taken of passengers security first.

Picocell will be accessed by minimum 100 users only effectively. According to FCC rules and regulations, electromagnetic interference is there with plane instruments. So mounting of picocell location should be isolated. Passengers should have seamless connectivity. Civil aviation department included that charges for voice, video etc., in passenger tickets itself. Service provider networks should be maintained and monitored by TRAI.
