DEAR SIR, PLEASE LOOK IN TO THE MATTER SERIOUSLY. I REQUEST YOU TO GIVE TRAVEL AGENTS TICKETING PERMISSION AS IRCTC WORKS. NOW ONE AGENT'S CAN BOOK AFTER 12 O CLOCK. WHILE TATKAL IS STAYING HARDLY ONE MINUTE TO ALL TRAIN WHAT HAVE RUSH. WE HAVE TO PAY HUGE CHARGE TO IRCTC FOR RENEWAL PAYMENT & ONLINE TRAVEL COMPANIES TAKE HUGE PAYMENT GET WAY CHARGE FROM US. BUT THEY MAKE RULE ONE AGENTS CAN TAKE ONLY RS 10 FOR 6 PAX PNR WITH PRINT A TICKET. WHILE WHICH COMPANY GIVE US CONNECTION TAKE 5 IN 10.

Let IRCTC come up with a software so as one can buy UNRESERVED tickets with IRCTC login id for specfic distance (say 300 kms) and get SMS ticket to show to ticket checking staff with id proof as support evidence. This saves time to go to booking offices to purchase tickets, especially when a person suppose to catch some different train in junctions. Now every one have Smartphones/Android phones this becomes convenient.

Shatabdi trains and metros have an internal announcing system of informing the passangers of approaching station and the stoppage there. This is notvery costly but useful The security incharge of the train can also be effective if a high decibel actuated cctv camera can inform the Security incharge of the coach requiring immediate attention. Particularly, passengers travelling at night feel very difficult to know about the next station

iii) This way we provide live updates as to whether passenger has traveled or not on online portal. iv) Passenger should also receive SMS once his ticket has been checked by TC. iv) This way illegal TDR filing can also be avoided. v) Railways can also easily maintain database. vi) Most importantly, paper consumption will be reduced greatly.

Respected Sir, Ticket inspector's are provided with sheet of passenger reservation list for verifying passengers travelling in train; this utilizes lots of paper on daily basis. We can try to reduce paper utilization if we can implement following idea: i) Provide TC's with tablet, where in they can check passenger list on tablet itself. ii) Mark passengers as traveled/not traveled in list, and once sufficient number of passengers are verified; TC can submit data to railways database.
