Varanasi has been selected by MoUD, GoI under Smart City Mission Phase-I 100 cities. In the next phase, Varanasi has to compete with 98 other cities from across the country to make it into the Top 20 cities.
Citizens and stakeholders of Varanasi are requested to post their views and suggestions on the Smart Vision Statement for Varanasi to be developed as Smart City. The solutions, suggestions & views should reflect the Vision of the City.
Vision:

“To revive the Glory of Varanasi by conserving and promoting its heritage and protecting its cultural and traditional environs to boost tourism and employment, provide quality urban services, accountable governance to enhance the quality of life of citizen”

The government school's should have also in English medium because a poor people can also afford his child better education and better future.

The prices of solar system may be reduced by the foreign communications also, because this is the way of eco-friendly and free source of energy.. In the Mann ki baat you should keep a ten minute citizen calling programme live. In which you should attained only ten min call of people directly by you, may be some factors you may know which can't be transmitted to you because of many reasons.

I would like to request to the Mr. Prime minister sir please make a trip of varanasi without any prior information and without any specified routes, you can carry a safety department but not prior notice. Because whenever you come here, you can't see the actual lifestyle actual problems, like Road problem, transport problem, corruption problem etc. When you come you have to go from the path where from that can't be seen.. So please sir.. You can see the actual mirror of varanasi

For making smart city should stop corruption. And for this all citizens have provided the higher authorities contact number for better solution in case of lower authorities are not solving.. And the system is so that one msg send by any citizen to the department recorded/goes to the all the higher authorities at a time. So the problem of corruption must be stopped by the fear of officers. plz sir do this, because this is the solution of most powerful part of corruption

Public transport system should be improved. Mini buses can be started on some of the routes and other means like rickshaws and autorikshaws should be zeroed out from such routes. Encourage people to use such buses for transport.
