Common people cannot get birth certificate/death certificate without greasing the palms of concerned official/agents. The system of Nagar Nigam Allahabad is so obscure that you cannot register the birth/death incident in its website.

Till date Nagar Nigam Allahabad has not amended its system for payment of property tax online. There is only few options to make payment of property tax. Nagar Nigam Allad. should learn it from paytm, easy recharge companies with respect to payment of taxes.

"Smart City" is very alluring name constantly used by different news channels, people, politicians etc. But before making Allahabad a smart city, first Nagar Nigam Allahabad needs to do its work on following points amongst other;

The agencies involved in underground work related to supply of electricity, phone, water, gas etc. should perform their work in the proper coordination with the state and central government agencies involved in road construction

The gas supply in the houses should be done through pipe line but the provision of cylinder should be kept alive because there are many people who do not have proper brick house they still live in the houses made from sand/clay.

The separate water supply should be done for toilet flushing and bathing. The quality of water in one of the tabs should be so good that it may be used for drinking purpose also. The drainage water should be processed, cleaned and could be supplied for irrigation and toilet flushing.

The garbage collection points should be increased and it should be in closed plastic container. The specially designed trucks are available which can pick the garbage from these containers. In spite of this there should be at least one dustbin at a distance of 100 meters throughout the city. The public who through the garbage on the roads should be punished heavily.
