Well according to me every women should taught the skills for their self protection and make them self sufficient

mentality should change! sensitize everybody, empower women, educate, in the past we use to venerate our women...from Draupadi, to Raziya Sultana to Rani Lakhsmi Bai and Rani Chinnama....what has happened now?

First of all parents should teach their daughters not to wear much attractive costumes. Wherever they go they must inform to their parents. Do not go with strange person in deserted area. Govt should employ some special people to keep watch over violence against women. Govt should make some law in favour of women employee, they shouldn't be forced to work in night . Also ban to the lustful ads & movies.

For rape victims: We should start a new thinking that - in a rape only the perpetrator looses their honor. By considering victims as having been robbed of their honor only increases suffering of victim. How can a person loose their honor without committing a wrong act?

In our locality night guards prevent theft and dacoity. Similarly every club in cities and villages can form a protective group of boys who will fight the menace of eve-teasing and molestation. Together they can keep the image of their locality and also of India. All we need is the will to do the right thing. Govt can sponsor such clubs for sports and yoga.

Start by realising that we couldn’t have born & the world wouldn’t have existed without women. Spread the word. This would lead to build a sense of respect for women & overcome the misbelief that they are a weaker sex. Organise campaigns at school/college/place of work-residence-public etc. where women show their prowess. Encourage carrying her own name after marriage. Condemn everything that materializes women viz. ad/poster/song/video/text/custom etc. Stop treating her as victim.

मेरा मत थोडा रुदिवादी लग सकता है पर इस हेतु हमें फिल्म और विज्ञापन जगत को भी विश्वास में लेना होगा कि वे हमारी माताओं-बहनों को पाश्चात्य सभ्यता की भांति वस्तु (commodity) कि भांति प्रस्तुत न करे | अश्लीलता पर लगाम लगाए अन्यथा सारे प्रयास पत्ते सींचने वाले ही साबित होंगे |

According to my view awareness is the best solution for this issue... By creation of advertisements, campaigns... We hv to aware our youth n children's about the contribution of women's and about women's importance in everyone's life...and also by making strict laws n by creating awareness regarding these laws so that everyone better know about the consequences of bad behaviour towards women...
