Sir, I think to spread awareness for respecting women and reducing crime against them we need to create awareness in society, in similar way as swaksh bharat abhiyan, we must launch a respect our women campaing. As per my opinion less educated and well educated all are involved in various crimes, harrasement etc against women we need to treat/purify the mindset of society.

Somewhere our education system failed over time to deliver right morals. You can't do a lot with old and grumpy who have conditioned minds, but involving youth in reviewing our education system and making moral education intrinsic part of the system. I am not asking RSS to run all schools India, that will be a disaster, but allowing young & beautiful minds to design their society completely free of crime, not just violence against women, but a new crime free world.

Sir, the world is a lot more competitive today for space, jobs, relationships. Young girls & boys need to taught to respect & trust their own abilities, to equip themselves as best as they can to face the world on their own with confidence, there is space for all under the sun! Parents, friends and the larger society should create an atmosphere of togetherness & brotherhood, to foster healthy relationships. Adults should first set examples by demonstrating respect for the women in their homes.

Sir, respect can't be taught beyond a point, it has to be earned. I quote a Nobel laureate "If your eyes are positive, you will love the world, if your tongue is positive, the world will love you. A woman's love is in action, she looks with her heart & feels with her eyes, she is the bank where her family deposits anger, worries & hurt. She is the cement that keeps the family together & her love lasts a lifetime". Girls & young women should be first taught to respect themselves and be confident.
