Ministry of AYUSH organizes the International Day of Yoga, the purpose of this event is to highlight the fact that Yoga can contribute in a holistic way to achieving equilibrium between mind and body. This approach to health and wellbeing can make a direct and useful contribution to humankind's quest to achieve sustainable development and move towards lifestyles that are in harmony with nature.

In view of the forthcoming International Day of Yoga-2018 and to generate awareness about the benefits of yoga for the comprehensive well-being of Indian women in the "40 plus" age group, Ministry of AYUSH invites you to share your ideas through the MyGov platform.

yoga is needed for women because at this period of time plus 40 they may hold mental stress and un healthyl life style so i suggest if women takes yoga in regular basis she may cure her diseases and stress

yoga is very all woman's body and health and fitness is very important daily all woman's youning 2 hours yoga and body mantanass yoga is very usefully yoga is very important in woman's body

#MinistryofAYUSH. Though yoga is important for men and women of all age groups, women in the 40+ age group should practice yoga without fail. After pregnancy and post-delivery stress is overcome by adequate rest and recovery, practice of yoga should be initiated. Practice of yoga is a must for staying fit, healthy and strong. Practicing yoga will also help in reducing stress and feel energetic. Practicing yoga will help coping up with pressure that arise from multitasking, parenting, etc.

योगा के बारे में कोई चर्चा किया जाए तो महिलाओं के लिए योगा बहुत जरूरी है खास करके जो 40 से ऊपर की महिला है उनके लिए योगा बहुत महत्वपूर्ण होता है क्योंकि जैसे जैसे उम्र ढलता है वैसे वैसे महिलाओं के अंदर कमजोरी आने लगती है आज की भागदौड़ भरी जिंदगी में महिलाएं अपने सेहत पर बहुत कम ध्यान दे पाती है इसलिए महिलाएं अक्सर बीमार रहती है इन बीमारियों से बचने के लिए ज्ञातव्य अंग्रेजी दवाओं का उपयोग करते हैं या उन बीमारियों को झेलती है मेरा मानना यह है कि अगर महिलाएं नियमित रूप से योगा करना चाहिए
