Since you came to power, even the Indian Embassy of Sweden has changed their act and behaviour! I was proud at the ease of my daughter receiving her OCI. Staff is now a lot friendlier and really helpful! Proud to be Indian.. thank you Mr Prime Minister and Honorable ambassador of India in Sweden

"There is No way to reach anyone after working hours or weekends in case of emergency". We provide 24/7 support to the entire world. Why cant we do it for our own services ? I recently had an emergency on friday 5:00 pm, and had to painfully wait till monday morning to get my passport.

My husband had to renew his Indian passport so he took a day off his working days to go to London obviuosly the online appointment system doesn't work and you have to wait your turn only to be told he didn't bring one of the documents which was not even mentioned on the website. And sent him back and it was the case with atleast 5 other people .To sum it all , they staff is rude, the website

Spain and France are not allowed to apply through visa on arrival we applied through an agency in San Francisco that process Tourist visas CKGS. The process was painful and long. Tons of document required for such a short stay in India... We had trouble with my application because CKGS told us by error that my application was on hold for some unknown reason. We lost a lot of time calling them and visiting the agency without any straight answer. We were 80% sure we will need to cancel trip.

-It should be mandatory that all embassies should register Indian citizen in their Country and should remain connect to them through social media like twitter,Facebook, whatsapp etc OR Ministry of external affair can have it's own connectivity website. -Periodic surprise audit of the work related matter should be conducted to review the complaints/feedback from the Indian citizens. -Periodic get together of the Indian citizens can be organised by embassies to provide sense of belongingness.

Indian Embassies need logistical upgrade. My passport got stolen in a Brussels train, and when I went to the embassy they gave me a letter to cross international borders which was ridiculed by border police in Brussels. I went back and they asked me to go to Paris as they did not have the facility to print passport in Brussels. 1. Pl educate embassy officials to give the correct information/direction to citizens in need 2. Upgrade infra to issue passports on tatkal for all embassies

The first and foremost is to change the image of Indiam Embassies in foreign countries, though the embassy officials live and work in foreign countries where in the host countries things are done very organised and professional way in governement offices, in contrary Indian embassies seem to be functioning good old Indian way of executing day-to-day activities. > Not organized (looks from distance under-staffed) > Facilities are ill-equipped > Cleanliness is not maintained > No clarity is given
