THIS WAS SEVERAL MONTHS BACK. PMO MAY KINDLY CONSIDER ADVISING MoH & FAMILY WELFARE TO TAKE A FAVOURABLE VIEW IN THE MATTER IN ORDER TO AMELIORATE SUFFERING OF THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT RETIREES IN JALANDHAR.

The impact of the rain in JALANDHAR has been that yesterday the commuters had to face watered roads almost in all parts of the city. One flyover in Chuggitii pn the National Highways NH1 gave way in part. This flyover was put to use merely 6 months back. Evidently, the material used the construction of the flyover was sub-standard Similarly, even newly laid used have started showing signs of wear & tear. There is need to EXERCISE GREATER MONITORING TO CHECK PILFERAGE.

**CGHS -- THERE ARE 2 EMPANELED PRIVATE HOSPITALS WHO PROVIDE MEDICAL TREATMENT ON CGHS RATES -- BUT ONE HAS TO MAKE PAYMENT TO THE THE CONCERNED PRIVATE HOSPITAL AND SUBMIT PAPERS FOR REIMBURSEMENT TO CGHS, DELHI, AND, WAIT FOR REIMBURSEMENT AFTER MEETING SEVERAL OBJECTIONS ' BY THE CGHS AUTHORITIES. THIS CONSUMES SEVERAL BEFORE ONE GETS REIMBURSEMENT AGAINST ONE BILL. DISGUSTFUL AND FULL OF DESPAIR.

** CGHS-- THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES WHO, AFTER SERVING AT DELHI FOR 35-40 YEARS, OPT TO MOVE TO THEIR NATIVE PLACE, INCLUDING JALANDHAR (PUNJAB), AFTER RETIREMENT, FIND THEMSELVES IN LIMBO IN SO FAR AS MEDICAL FACILITIES UNDER CGHS ARE CONCERNED. THEY ARE CONSCIOUS ENOUGH, HEALTH-WISE, AND GET THEMSELVES ENROLLED AGAIN "FOR LIFE", PAYING PRESCRIBED AMOUNT. AND, AFTER MOVING TO JALANDHAR, ONE FINDS THAT MEDICAL FACILITIES ONE WAD USED TO IN DELHI, HAVE GONE INTO THE WINDS. DISGUSTING.

JALANDHAR deserves all round development, it being a sort of Industrial hub, on more sectors than one. But it is suffering from several ills, bumpy roads, loads of garbage lying on roads, heaps of garbage scattered in corners of almost every street, faulty street lights, key roads turning into ponds even with half an hour's rain, and what not. ALL THIS ID CAUSING LOTS OF SUFFERING TO THE CITIZENS. BUT AUTHORITIES, BE THEY BUREAUCRATS, BE THEY ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES OF THE PEOPLE, SIT AT EASE.

The GST constitutional bill have been prepared after appropriate changes in earlier bill passed in LS. The concept of the GST to centralised the system of tax by single autority instead of seprate various authority. therefore, the contribution of state in respect to GST should be alloted to them and CGST tax collected in central account,but,it will be more complicated if two authority of tax collection,return,assessment etc. procedure by assessee,hence,it will be rectified in GST act.best wishes
