Risk management to be part of education. Youth form every district should be trained free. Voluntary youth registered for mangement.

disasters result in casualty and lives can be saved if golden minute/hour treatment is provided. It is suggested to include practical first aid lessons in the school and college curriculum. This would not only empower the youth to save lives during a disaster but also during day to day accidents/crisis and participate in reducing mortality instead of being a bystander.they may also be taught aspects of medico legal cases such as motor accidents as part of first aid training.

They should be made aware of the various disasters and they should be given the basic training of dealing with the disaster and some volunteers be identified who can be given an advanced training on how to handle the situations , so that when ever there is a bad situation , they help in reducing the potential damage of the disaster. Basic training of fire fighting etc. should be made compulsary

Youth is the one full of energy and enthusiasm. It just needs to be directed on right path. The youth must be taught about dangerous to dangerous situations in schools or colleges and how to deal with them so that they could implement them at the time of problem. Youth plays a vital role in the development of the nation. They must be taught about the preventive measures and should be fully determined and confident to help people out of trouble.

I agree with Venugopal we should start the Drills at the School level, I would prefer to have a program for disaster management, traffic regulations. It might not lead to immediate result but its a long term planning which should be part of the curriculum for the students.
