Let all major companies in the Private sector allowed to start their own university and offer degree courses with curricula according to their needs while complying with statutory bodies, the admission need to be on merit and open to all , the companies can recruit the students on course completion and during the course they can offer internship and practical skills training ,so they don't complain our graduates are unemployable etc. It will be a win win for all

IIT and IIM'S select the best students across the country and Train them, but the Government does not benefit as the student go to the private sector so I request the Government to revise the admission procedure so that the whole pass outs from the above institution are absorbed in the Government, research ,PSU, Institutions, teaching jobs so that the top students can given opportunity to serve govt and if any student wants to join the private sector ,he has to compensate the government.

I can understand the need of new IIT and IIM but creating more such institutes like factories won't increase the standard of education. In our country IITians are over-rated. In order to compete with western universities like Cambridge or Harvard holistic development in all branches is required not just engineering. Research in India (sorry to say) is mostly 'Copy Paste.' Research standards need to be increased and research needs to be encouraged. Turning IIT s into pathshaala wont help.

Government invests in IIT and IIM who select best student and train them for high paying jobs in the private sectors. How does the country benefit from these students. It is time IIT and IIM play a wide role in nation building, whether providing strategies for meeting skilling targets or lay down frame works to facilitate make in india or develop indias infrastructure. Role of IITS and IISC in developing online material is commendable, need such efforts in all sectors to justify investment

Remarkable job done by IITS and IISC having developed valuable online courses available at http://nptel.ac.in.Congrats IIT Madras for taking the lead, the challenge is how the govt propose to use these resource for skill Development of Diploma Engineers to gain Degree. We need such courses at the craftsman level and Diploma level to develop the skills of our Tradesman and Supervisor. Request Govt to aid such ventures. Why no such effort from IIMS. IIT and IIMS are to aid nation development

The central institutions can play a valuable role in distance learning. Online courses, mentoring smaller institutions, Create better books, media, and run seminars to improve Quality of education across the country. Quality problems in education need to be identified, analyzed(Root cause analysis), fixed, improved and prevented in the future. This requires ISO 9000 principals and systems. Quality can be improved by stringent quality, reviews, assessment and audits. These instt can do a lot.

Five Rashtriya Military Schools, many residential Sainik schools for military pers children. Prime buildings, land, facilities, central govt pensionable service. These schools are white elephants, poorest output, suppression of talent, backward, excessive physical activity at too early age, severe corporal punishment, malnourishment and nobody complain against irregularities being Army establishment no transparency.Same kids can study in KV,live in Army hostel. Day scholars can study in school.

The admission procedure for U.G. and P.G. courses at NIT's and IIT's is not transparent.Every year many deserving students are deprived from admission but surprisingly plenty of seats remain vacant!!There should be a central monitoring of admissions in Autonomous institutes.Honourable HRD minister is requested to intervene in this matter and should streamline the procedure.
