डिजिटल इंडिया के प्रमुख स्तंभों में से एक ब्रॉडबैंड हाईवे के माध्यम से पूरे देश में इंटरनेट सेवा प्रदान करना है। इसी उद्देश्य से भारतनेट के तहत 2019 तक 2,50,000 ग्राम पंचायतों को ऑप्टिकल फाइबर से जोड़े जाने की दिशा में कार्य जारी है। कुछ विशेषज्ञों ने सुझाव दिया है कि देश में केबल के माध्यम से सभी तक इंटरनेट सेवा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए केबल के मौजूदा बुनियादी ढांचे का लाभ उठाया सकता है।

माईगव देश के नागरिकों से इस संबंध में नीति और प्रौद्योगिकी के बुनियादी ढांचे पर सुझाव आमंत्रित करता है ताकि नीचे दिए गए उद्देश्य पूरे हो सकें।
1) नीति और तकनीकी दृष्टिकोण से हमारे केबल नेटवर्क के अधिकतम उपयोग की क्या संभावनाएं हैं?
2) इस प्रक्रिया में क्या संभावित चुनौतियां आ सकती हैं?
3) चुनौतियों और अवसरों पर गौर करते हुए बताएं, क्या इसे एक व्यवहारिक विकल्प के रूप में अपनाया जा सकता है?

Reliance geo का नेटवर्क सभी जगह चालू होंने बाला है इसलिये सरकार को संचार के साधन मे एक पैसे भी खर्च नही करना चाहिये अन्य विकास के मानको पर प्रतिव्यक्ति आय/ ज्यादा जीवन प्रत्यासआ / शिक्षा के बारे मे सोचना चहिये

i thonk it is the best ever idea to make india digital too early .And reach the internet at the far end to the remote villages where electricity is unreachable till days. so steps to be taken both electricity and cable service along with Internet shold be reacch the people at a time.

Considering the time target of 2019 to ensure delivery of this to the masses as a service, the fastest route is no doubt using existing physical cable capillarity and reach. Along the way various options of wireless technology via DTH etc would be a very huge complementing option; especially in the rough and far flung terrains! Legalising such last mile will be the best way to get the ubiquity of reach intended ie 2,50,000 gram panchayats !

Project planning needs to be done keeping in mind of the future. If we can set the networking of cables across the country using cutting edge technology like Fibre optics then it should be in vision with 5G speed and above. One suggestion can be to use the street lights as towers for cable connectivity and nodes and junctions to amplify signals across roads. This will help to monitor, digitally do virtual testing, no loose cables, etc and can be leveraged by private companies in subsidized rate
