ganga or indian rivers can be cleaned by people itself by not throwing more waste on rivers or any other source of water. govt. must disconnect the sewage lines from river , so that no more waste shall introduce.sewage can be instantly recycled and turned into power and other domestic goods. ban on all kinds of domestic poly bags. thankx

I would recommend the Govt.of india to take grass root level participation,i.e,the local people,the local govts,the district authorities,the state govt.and the central govt.the reason i suggested this is ,when the govt does this alone,no one will n the efforts the centre has taken,if everyone is participating then they will make sure that the river is clean,as they will have a feeling that they participated in it. so lets go with all the stake holders...jai hind

"Prevention Is Better Than Cure".Ganga is the natural gift. We the human don't have the ability to clean any natural resources. Can We able to make pure fire(but we can make polluted fire by throwing plastics into the fire),can we make the rain to shower clean(but we can make acid rain),can we make pure soil(but we can pollute soil by adding uncountable chemical fertilizers in the name of green revolution).so don't pollute ganga and it will be clean forever by its own.CLEAN GANGA AND RESPECT IT.

The Ganga keep on changing its direction so people living along the Ganga river must plant different trees, banian tree and bamboo to make a dense forest along both sides of the Ganga. People can store seeds of different fruits like Mango, Jamun, Guava and sow the seeds densly so that a dense forest may be created and that will help to save sides of the river. During summer people should fetch water from Ganga and pour to the plant so that planted tress grow rapidly. More plantation of Banyan.

I think each and every Hindus does this ,just to get rid off all the puja stuff !! Come let's stand up unitedly and stop all the misuse of images of our God's taking this step will surely reduce polluting rivers.
