दूरदर्शन ने स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय के स्वास्थ्य शिक्षा अभियान के लिए एक संकल्पना पत्र बनाया है। इस संकल्पना का उद्देश्य देश में स्वास्थ्य के प्रति लोगों को जागरूक करना है और लोगों को स्वस्थ जीवन शैली को अपनाने और रोगों की रोकथाम के लिए प्रेरित कर एक स्वस्थ वातावरण का निर्माण करना है। अभियान को राष्ट्रीय, क्षेत्रीय और अंतर्वैयक्तिक संचार के साथ उप-क्षेत्रीय जैसे तीन स्तरीय दृष्टिकोण के साथ शुरू करने की योजना बनाई गई है।

health education on doordarshan is more effective, but it should be specific when any epidemic or disease arise,we need to address disease with all methods of cure with name, so also such medicine availability without prescription,also need to publicly promote preventive simple method.

There should be a 1 Hour session (Preferably Live) where the panel includes Allopathic Doctor, Ayurvedic Doctor, Nutritionist, Siddha Doctor and a Naturopathy practitioner. Common man can call up with queries about the lifestyle related issues to which this panel can give solutions/Approach for better results.

Health education problems: Urban centric, less rural involvement due to lack of level playing field. 2) Thus later on they don't want to work in villages. 3) Lack of spreading of health and hygiene due to above factors. Solution: Like Asha and Ashok, need for a scheme as (Doctor from every village). 2) 4-5 year training to them at every district level, this self sufficiency as observed by M.K. Gandhi may revolutionize our health system.
