10) I am aware that the ASI is publishing beautiful adorable books on Indian monuments , More are needed and they should be easily available . Reach out . Create Awareness . I was in Bhopal for business and I came to know there is a tribal museum. It is really one if it's kind . The point is I never heard about it before 11) infrastructure - whether our roads or hill stations or our beaches . Daunting task but it needs to get started in phases if we have the desire to ever finish it

8) all our airport terminals , major train stations , hotels should have free brochures that will tell us all the interesting things aroubd . From sight seeing to activities to cuisines to event calenders . All our museums have special exhibitions , our cities have fantastic flower shows for example . Why nobody knows about it ? 9) develop the museums . Do we have something similar to NY Metropolitan Museum of art ?How many of us will know that the didarjang yakshi is in the Patna museum?

Continuing 6) our monuments have to generate their own revenue . Period. The current admission fees is 5 rs. That will not fetch you a cup of tea in Gurgaon . Revisit the rates. This will help you to generate sufficient revenue for better upkeep and not just a cursory protection . And discounts can be given for larger groups 7) upscale your gift shops at the sites . They should look interesting and will attract tourists . Customers want retail therapy . Have a look at the gift shops abroad.

Continuing 5) national parks in US allow life time memberships or even yearly membership . There are earmarked camping sites and trekking paths - all with beautiful advertisements and infrastructure . Why can't we do similar things ? Our national park service and ASI have to be creative in involving citizens and also generate revenue. Can we start seeing something like "get involved " or "adopt a monument " in all our tourist websites ?

Continuing ... 4) ASI should get its citizens involved . I have seen in other countries with tag lines line "adopt a road " or "adopt a stream" . I am sure there are people who are willing to contribute to some extent in preservation of the gardens or the monuments . Why can't we do something like that ? How can a citizen get involved in the preservation of a monument or a national park of their choice ?

1) develop the Buddhist circuit - right infrastructure and branding . Gaya, sarnath , sanchi, ajanta and Ellora. Korea , China , Japan are all target countries. 2) develop your golf courses . Japanese tourists love to play golf . Sell that as a product . Offer charter flights for golfers . Immense potential 3) develop the websites so that travellers travelling alone can build their own itinerary And plan accordingly . Look at the tourist websites in Uk did example . Just so tourist friendly

Govt. of J&K has always discriminated with Jammu region. Everybody in Union Govt. knows this... How can the Jammu tourism grow when the amenities are not created and places not promoted. World famous Hill Station Sanasar, near Patnitop is a most neglected place. The road connectivity is in dilapidated condition, water supply system is negligible despite the abundant water resources. It has nature in abundance and is best suited for adventure sports... Needs attention of BJP.....

The TN, Thoothukudi district site http://www.thoothukudi.tn.nic.in/Manapad_tour.html could add more details about the recently happened surfing related events (Manapad Classic - Sail & Surf Festival) in Manapad. Before starting the events itself these district sites should be updated with such details. This will help to increase tourism.
