Our holy Ganga is clean upto Devprayag and Rishikesh but starts polluting from there. I have been to Rishikesh and seen riverside camping tents with sewer and garbage being thrown into the ganga. It is shameless but Avoidable if the uttarakhand govt. bans lease of camps on river bed.
