Respected and Honorable Prime Minister Sir, Please kindly help by making a policy for making availability of solar stream cooking systems to individual households, restaurants/community centers like hostels, guest houses, hospitals /canteens, etc. and establishing small capacity like 5 ton to 10 capacity solar-powered cold storage for rural farmer’s food/vegetable/fruits preservation which does not require grid electricity thereby dependency on LPG / Coal / Firewood will be reduced and help in minimizing the emission of carbon footprint. The said suggestions are implementable through special schemes guided by appropriate institutions and expected to help ensure the enhancement of agricultural livelihood activities across the ridge to valley farmlands thereby increase in food security and employment generation and self-sustainability.
