भारतीय ओलंपिक संघ (आईओए) भारत की राष्ट्रीय ओलंपिक समिति है और यह अंतरराष्ट्रीय ओलंपिक समिति द्वारा मान्यतता प्राप्त है। अन्य बातों के साथ-साथ ओलंपिक खेलों तथा क्षेत्रीय स्पमर्धाओं जैसे राष्ट्र मंडल खेलों और एशियाई खेलों में भारतीय खिलाड़ियों और टीमों को तैयार करने और उनके भाग लेने की जिम्मेेदारी आईओए की है। आईओए की अन्य जिम्मेदारियों में राष्ट्रीेय खेलों का आयोजन तय करना और ओलंपिक अभियान को बढ़ावा देना शामिल है।

राष्ट्रीय खेल परिसंघ (एनएसएफ) खेल विधाओं के संवर्धन और विकास के लिए जिम्मेिदार हैं। राष्ट्रीय चैम्पियनशिपों के आयोजन तथा विश्व चैम्पयनशिप, एशियाई चैम्पयनशिप और राष्ट्रमंडल चैम्पैयनशिप में खेल विधाओं में भारतीय खिलाड़ियों और टीमों के भाग लेने की जिम्मेरदारी संबंधित राष्ट्रीय खेल परिसंघों की है।

आईओए और राष्ट्रीय खेल परिसंघ सोसायटीज पंजीकरण अधिनियम के अंतर्गत पंजीकृत स्वायत्त निकाय हैं। युवा कार्यक्रम और खेल मंत्रालय लगातार इस बात पर बल देता रहा है कि आईओए तथा राष्ट्रीीय खेल परिसंघ अपनी कार्यप्रणाली तथा अंतरराष्ट्रीाय स्परर्धाओं में भागीदारी के लिए खिलाड़ियों के चयन में पारदर्शिता और सुशासन सुनिश्चित करें।

The Heads/Managers/Executives/Representatives/Members of Sports Organization should be lead by only the Person who achieved something in Sports. The politician should not be elected and should not interfere in the Organizational reviews. A separate registration process should be maintained so that the sportsmen should get registered. And the overall Sports Meet would be informed to them electrically. It makes the person to achieve in the meet and make them prepare for India.. Chak De India..!!

On 26-4-15 in his speech Maan Ki baat Respected PM Mr Narendra Damodardas Modi emphasized on MAYLA MATHE PE DHONA (carrying dirt on head). The phrase was headline in each and every NEWS of the day. Is He really concern about this and made provisions of reservation in LOK SABHA, RAJYA SABHA, STATE VIDHAN SABHA, MILITARY etc etc etc ...... Such reservations are in place in other aspects of life. Respected PM Mr NARENDRA DAMODARDAS MODI SIR do you have explanation or just a speech.

Organise an open sports meet at Tehsil Level or District level at each year in a particular month through out India. It can also be termed as "Sports Months of India" Emphasis should be for videographing each and every event inorder to avaoid corruption and favouring. All the particiapnts should be asked to testify for Drugs before appearing for events from the Govt Medicals. A prescribed proforma for medical tests should be notified. The politicians should be kept away from these meets.

We should start searching talent from small to small place of India by organising camp in every village, before this we should share knowledge or increase awareness of all type of games. Gov is doing very well work for these game, but winners of these game or players of all games are not contributing a single penny for social works or for India.

Its the people of our country who elect the Ministers. Similarly, let the sports persons elect the leader for them. State players elect their state head and National players elect their National head for the respective bodies. The governance and the sports body will be unbiased if this taken under consideration. Its not about the money that we play for, its about the pride. People who made us proud and making us proud are those who are eligible to elect their body heads. They know the pain...

जब खेल मैदान से निकल कर कुर्सी तक आ जाता है तो सारी सीमायें, मर्यादाएं भंग हो जाती हैं और खेल संघ एक राजनैतिक पार्टी बन जाता है अत: खेल के विजेता व्यक्तियों को ही उन स्थानों पर बिठाया जाए जो खेल और खिलाड़ी के लिए निर्णायक होते है।

खेल एक खुला मंच है जिसमे जो होता है सामने होता है फिर इसमें पारदर्शिता की बात आती ही कहाँ है. जब खेल मैदान से निकल कर कुर्सी तक आ जाता है तो सारी सीमायें, मर्यादाएं भंग हो जाती हैं और खेल संघ एक राजनैतिक पार्टी बन जाता है. खेल संघो को सोसाइटीज एक्ट में क्यों शामिल किया है. क्यों नहीं शिक्षा के अंतर्गत लाया जाय और अलग विभाग बनाया जाय, पैसे बचेंगे, परतिभा आगे आएगी, देश में ओलिंपिक मेडलो की कतारे लग जायेंगी. भ्रष्टाचार तो तब भी होगा, किनती तुरंत एवं कठोर सजा से अधिकारी डरेंगे, काम करेंगे.

भारतीय ओलम्पिक संघ को इतनी मजबूत संस्था बनाइये की इसका उल्लंघन करने वाले को, चाहे वो अधिकारी हो यो खिलाडी सख्त सजा मिल सके। सुरेश कलमाड़ी ने विश्व में भारत का नाम गिरा दिया। क्या हुआ इनका? भारत को ओलम्पिक में मेजबानी का मौका मिल सकता है लेकिन पीछे क्यों है? आपको इस संस्था को नई संस्था का रूप देना चाइए। हमारी सरकार को चीन से सीख लेनी चाइये। इस संस्था की विश्व् में कोई पहचान नहीं है।
