I am really surprised to see that the politics of criticism being followed by a few in the country gains more momentum than that involving some positive work. People just want to critise other's actions to get more publicity in media and press. One gets to see a few personalities just before each and every election. Others too join them to gain more political milage. One should be sensible enought after 68 years of independence to see the things in the right spirit.

Dr.Ramaa S, Attitude learning is an higher order learning. Attitudinal changes cannot occur through preaching or lectures. The strengths of the differently abled persons have to be nurtured. There are stereotyped notions about these individuals. Proper education and training can foster the strengths/talents of these individuals. When they start exhibiting their strengths, others realise them and develop positive attitude. Empowering these persons with education and training is a must.

Marina Beach is 2nd largest beach in India at chennai. It is a place for kids to play and elders to walk on sand. It is becoming dangerous with so much of glass pieces and debris harmful to the kids. Welcome suggestion recently in Times of India that Hawkers registration to operate in Beach will provide healthy atmosphere and accountability. Bike riders rash driving on sunday around the Beach traffic may be punished as it is high risk for other road users. Senior Citizens helpline is awesome.

Reforms: I am afraid that the Govt is drifting away from the reforms. The latest thing is to succumb to the pressure of Bank employee unions. The outright wage revision by 15% is uncalled for and definitely it will automatically infuse inflation atleast by another 2 to 3%. Further for development the banks are essential services and should be made available on all days through out the year. Allowing them to function like government agencies is not a good management principle.

We have created the attitude. We are none to give the PWDs the justice. The natural Justice system may bring equality. This is the question of basic Human Rights and Dignity.A mother of a Disabled child never look in different angle with other children and by birth right the child get affection and love from his family. Therefore if similarly we think the society as a family it will be no matter to change our attitude to the PWDs and all others.
