We are spending mega on providing Justice to citizens over a long period of time. Even I would say, sometime the cost of providing justice is more than the cost of the justice. Entire process of providing justice needs to be re-engineered, after all we are paying the courts from our central funds. The basic thing we could do at the beginning is providing logistics to the courts which will in turn will bring down the operational cost over the period of time.

Another Key principle of W. Edwards Deming says: **Cease dependence on inspection to achieve quality. Eliminate the need for massive inspection by building quality into the product in the first place. I would like to implement this for reducing our central government expenditure. We are spending lot of money and time on inspections/audits (for example- CAG, SIT, CBI, CID). I am not saying we need to stop it, but certainly we need to use it more effectively and appropriately.

A Scam is there as huge amount of money spent by PWD & PUE in construction and renovation of accomodation of Judges. Came to know of one incidence where the bunglow was renovated a year back with Rs.40 lacs and the next judge didn`t like the interior, so he directed and another Rs.30lacs was spent in renovation. This case is of a single Judge, imagine the prospect for whole India, this goes into hundred crores of tax payers money going to waste. The whole system needs a strong overhaul.
