Promote waste management startups that use wet and dry waste for various purpose like recycling,biomass plant,agriculture.For each big area/, there should be e-auction to pvt companies.They would be responsible for collection and disposal of waste in that area and also they would pay to government.No need to carry Financial burden of Municipal corporation for this purpose. Benefits : Cost saving,no dependency on Municipality,better efficiency of pvt sector

Dear Modiji, In regards to Swach Bharat Abhiyan, I would like to share an idea. If you can somehow address and inspire Rickshaw and Taxi drivers to maintain cleanliness and maintain a waste bin in their vehicle.... Eg. If a passenger liters, they should stop their vehicle, pick up the liter and throw it in their waste bin, give a smile to their passenger, without saying anything continue their journey. This would create a great impact on public. Warm regards Dinesh

Respected Prime Minister Sir, I would like to say that the campaign Swachh Bharat is though very good thing for India. But you are right in saying that Swachh Bharat comes when people will change from heart. Sir, in every Mann ki baat program you deliver your thoughts but please also every time awake the people by just talking about Swachh Bharat and cleanliness campaign in end of your every speech. Also, please do make some system for proper drainage of sewage and cleanliness of rivers.

My suggestion is to involve people for clean India. Those who are willing to participate in clean India campaign should form a group and can adopt a nearby village. Government can advertise & provide guide lines and local MLA's can help including financial help to the group to achieve the desired results

Anti sound pollution activity

Sir, In many urban centres the area earmarked for parks are used for dumping garbage. Once such public places are used for garbage it is next to impossible to clean-up, every one in the locality will make habit to throw trash there. For example there are many such instances in Hyderabad. Therefore it is suggested that it should be made mandatory for municipalities/corporations to first cleanup and protect area left for park and playground. The drive should start from parks/playgrounds.

Himachal Pradesh's small and big rivers has become dirty day by day due to sewage water. Govt.'s equipments are insufficient for sewage plants. When sewage tanks become full with water then people throw water in the rivers. Govt. has no facility for taking the sewage water away from the villages.

Urban areas has a large population and the type and quantity of waste is much different as compared to rural areas which has small population and also there is less quantity and non hazardous type of waste.Thus seperate line of action /different approach required to be planned for the two different domains.
