The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

4. Police patrolling at Ranaghat Bridge. 5. Medical facilities like All India Institute of Science and Technology (AIIMS) 6. Affordable housing for needy people especially for 3rd grade citizen and labours. 7. Control of speedy driving with police controlled room with CCTV camera. 8. Strict law and order for public security.

My suggestion and discussion for smart city Pasighat 1. All road light and water facilities especially hygienic drinking water. 2. Highly equipped technically training institute, colleges, universities and schools. 3. Embankment of highly Siang River and its bank should be beautified with green park and garden.

I am full of support the smart city. Because in Pasighat here is so many lack of facilities like electricity, education, internet etc. Education is the most important of each an every person. We cannot study without the electricity. I kindly requested to you sir that you will fulfil the need of the people of us. I am full of expected you is that you will fulfil the demand of us. So my speech is concluded here.

I would like to draw your attention to urgent need to reform the current municipal system. Under the current system corruption is rampant, and the welfare schemes are abused by corrupt politicians and officials. There is poor planning and even poorer implementation of rules and regulations. I request your good offices to take urgent attention of rampant corruption, official apathy at municipal level to improve the working condition of Indian citizens

Before Smart City Gov. should (1)provide E-Security through One Touch Mobile Button or Code which send alarms & location to Police & relatives. (2)Online application of all Services, Licences, Permissions, Facilities, Complaints etc. (3)Transparency & Online records of all Govt. activities & Expenditures (4)Strong laws & punishments (5)Revise Reservation Policy poverty/status wise instead of cast wise

HEALTHY, HAPPY, HARMONY, HISTORIC, HOLY, HOSPITALITY & HOMELY Should be the VISION document to realise the SMART CITY PASIGHT PROJECT MISSION Healthy Pasighat requires CLEAN AND GREEN with proper road and drainage system and organic farming for sustainable development and sporting activities such as MISSION FOOTBALL Field, Pasighat a CYCLING destination of the world Pasight should not be a concrete jungle rather ENVIORNMENT must be protected, CLEAN SAING, SIBO KRONG, PANE KRONG
