On the occasion of this festive season of Deepawali, PM Modi invites citizens to pen their thoughts, their feelings, their sense of gratitude, towards our soldiers. You can send your messages on the Narendra Modi App by giving a missed call to 1922 or in the comments section below. DD and AIR would broadcast the best posts on their platform. MyGov would also release selected best posts through its social media handles. Prime Minister may read a selection of the best posts in his Mann ki Baat slated for 30th October 2016.

Tons of thanks to you & your families/near and dear for all the sacrifices...canceling holidays on a major festival to fight relentlessly on the border amid adverse conditions - it means a lot to all of us. Words can't express how much we appreciate it. Nation would always be grateful to you & your families. It reminds of Latajis apt rendition - ae mere watan ke logo, zara aankh mein bhar lo pani, jo shahid hue hain unki, zara yaad karo kurbani ....many thanks!
