Dear Modi ji Eat more fruits and vegetables. These not only contain fiber, but also have many beneficial vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals (disease fighting compounds). Plus, since most fruits and vegetables are low in calories and fat, they can fill you up but not out. Resolve to try some new ones this year too. Eat more fiber. A high fiber diet may help lower cholesterol levels, control blood sugars and aid in weight loss. Fruits, vegetables, legumes and whole grains

Morning (6 am) glass of luke warm water and half cup of aloe Vera juice or lemon water with honey or amla juice. Breakfast (9:30 am) oats, wheat or bajra roti, or milk, milk products, one fruit or two boiled eggs. Lunch (1 pm) bowl of salad, 2 roti with bowl of vegetables, half bowl of rice with bowl of dal. Evening ( 5 pm) Cup of green tea, one bowl sprout popcorn or biscuits. Dinner (7:30 pm) Little rice with dal and vegetable, soup, salad. One fruit and milk one hour before sleep.

The day should start with good breakfast . Even simple tea and roti is okay for breakfast but it should not be skipped. The diet should include fruits and vegetables. Although everyone cannot afford fruits of all types at least cheap and locally available fruits like guavas , bananas should be had at least on alternate days. Peanut /sesame and jaggery mix chikkis should be encouraged amongst children instead of chocolates and biscuits. Local variety of foods should be encouraged .
