online marketing(like flipkart, jabong etc ) of food products would help them to own their own business units where they can process and package and directly sell the grains to customers(hotels, catering services, or even to household). Also connecting with the technology can create an open forum for farmers across the world to discuss the best practices and clear their any doubts at any time...

The farmers be e-literate. The agri. officer should go to the farmer not the farmer to him.Farmer should get seed, manure and fertilizer at optimum rate. adequate research work on the field be the motto of agri. department.(ICAR) results of research be shared to the end point- farmer. Proper weather forecast be given. modern techniques of farming be at the fingertips of the farmer. Due insurance be given for natural calamities and crop loss.Proper procurement procedure be there to get price.

Our agriculture sector faving major issues where a farmwr js not getting price for his product ,this is because of so many agents in between.Solution for this is to open a whole sale market on each panchayat where a farmer can sell their goods directly to the retailers.

Real Time Crop Data, as proposed by Honb'le PM, should be put to reality at the earliest. Village ‘patwaris’ all across India are already maintaining six monthly crop sowing record called ‘Girdawri’. Initially all the patwaris can be instructed to upload 'Girdawri Summary' on Govt. website. Compilation of girdawri record will give us Real Time Crop data accurate upto 90%, highly useful in controlling prices. Further phases will include Monthly data, Tabs girdawri, satellite imaging etc

This is only possible when the farmers are directly inducted in govt. programs which includes selling their crops directly to the market or to the consumers without any intermediates. This principle will help to make more profit for them with price control of the commodities in the agro market. Government needs to open an e-service so that when selling a crop to govt. the govt. issues a receipt to farmer with specified quantity of crop, date and the price given to the farmer ,to check corruption.

It will have indoor facilities like testing and certification laboratory, central electronic auction system, online spot commodity trading platform, ripening chamber and cold storage, agriculture training centre for farmers, banking facilities, mechanized material handling system etc. "Our aim is to work as a bridge between agro producers and the consumer. Along with it we want this facility to serve a one-stop shop,"

Two farmers' bodies in Gujarat are showing why Walmart isn't necessary. While the Agriculture Produce Market Committee (APMC) of Surat is ready with a mega mall in the heart of the city, the chain of Farmers' Mall set up by Maha Gujarat Agri Cotton Producers' Private Ltd is planning to add daily provisions to its shelves.
