Incentivise girl child education for the economically bacward sections by depositing a certain sum in form of bonds in the girls name to be redeemed on successful completion of XII class. Additional amount may be given for higher education. Give tax holiday for opening of 'girls only' school and encourage opening of such primary schools near every settlement/ colony.

Graduate education made free for girls in Chhattisgarh : I am from Chhattisgarh & I wanted to thank my government as they made girls education for graduation free in all government organizations for engineering, medical, polytechnic etc . By this major decision nearly one lakh girls in the state will be benefited. Chhattisgarh regime has set an example and all states should follow this kind of practises at least for primary and secondary education.

Few things that may help: 1. Add more audio / visual options to the study material 2. Link projects given at school to tasks related to day to day activities at home or work 3. For 7th and 8th grade students, include self defense as optional activity. We can have lady constable from local police station or ex-army men to run these courses. 4. Role models visiting / interacting with students may have great impact on child's education and development.

Each SEZ unit in the country should be mandated to contribute in setting up a school in rural not only to provide free education, free meal but state of the art vocational courses (e.g. handicrafts industry/ agriculture) which might attract the families that a child educated with their occupation might assist in higher productivity & family income, The SEZ to bear the full cost of running the institution for a period of first 5 years (as they are exempt from full tax for the same period)

My girl student with a temporary disability is appearing for the Japanese Certificate exam this December. I am also training her to do Tamil typing, English - Tamil translation and preparing lessons for school children in various subjects. All these will help in shaping her future career. I have also introduced her to my friend who has interviewed her and offered her an exclusive work-from-home option.

Talking about Karnataka, giving money to the girl child's family for her education is not done coz we have bhagyalakshmi scheme when a girl child takes birth. Instead the family must not be issued ration card or gas connection if their girl child is not sent to school. This will automatically force the parents to send their daughters to school.

I am staying in a locality where most of houses are in the form of core structure and those are being used as a place of residence by people working as construction worker in various places with very low income.I found they leave their daughters to look after their younger son till they return from work in evening.I convinced them about the facility of free education ,midday meal, books by Government in nearby government school and could convince them to send their daughters to school .
