i plant a tree with my college friends as a nss student incharge in my college for independence day. on independence day our group planted more than 100 trees

Hi I am a dual resident of Pune and Bangalore...as my work requires me to do so..I started with Planting trees in my own backyard..in our own apartment complex in kothrud..Last Ganesh chaturthi we planted 50 'Indian Trees' all the tree saplings were procured from PMC gardening department for free..however till date only 10 have survived because of various reasons theft, vehicle interference, PMC work and so on..we also planted few trees in sangamner district while going for a trek to ratangad

I wish to volunteer with a local NGO involved in tree plantation in Delhi. I also propose that the saplings of trees which are ruthlessly thrown in garbage in Government colonies should be transplanted to areas needing plantation. My submission is many saplings are available in Princess Park colony near India Gate, with permission from concerned authorities these can be transplanted by volunteers to other areas.
