Our ancient heritage gives great importance to the environment. A common theme in our ancient texts and literature is to caution against environmental degradation. In the Atharva Veda, Mother Earth is addressed directly – “May whatever we dig from you, grow back again quickly, and may we not injure you by our labour”.

Sh. Kiren Rijiju, Hon’ble Minister of State for Ayush (I/C) & Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports launched the Ayush Clinical Case Repository (ACCR) Portal and the Sanjivani Application (Version 3.0).

On the occasion of World Oral Health Day 2021, a meme-making contest, slogan writing competition, short film contest, and poster making competition were held from 1st March 2021 to 15th March 2021 on the MyGov Platform. The competitions were very successful and received a total of 5843 entries from across the nation. The theme for the competition was “Be proud of your mouth”.

There is a need for the society at large to take cognizance of the issue and to join hands to make road safety a social movement. To give all the stakeholders an opportunity to take part in concerted action for the cause, National Road Safety Month was observed from 18th January 2021 to 17th February 2021. The theme of this year was, “Sadak Suraksha- Jeevan Raksha”
