Food Corporation of India has been playing a vital role in ensuring Food Security in the country by procuring foodgrains from farmers at Minimum Support Prices and ensuring its storage and preservation as also movement of foodgrains across States to meet the requirements of National Food Security Act, Public Distribution System and Other Welfare Schemes. FCI alongwith State Agencies have a combined storage capacity of almost 73 million tonnes. FCI has 1841 depots which ensure proper storage and quality of foodgrains.

On the occasion of 125th anniversary of foundation day, National Archives of India, Ministry of Culture organised two contests 1) Designing a logo for125th Anniversary Celebrations 2) An emblem for National Archives of India with a tagline The announcements for the contest were made on My Gov portal and other sources like facebook page and website of the department. Further, eminent art colleges of the country, National Institute of Design and empanelled firms for the preparation of archival exhibitions in the department were also requested to participate in the contest. Both contest received remarkable response and 262 entries were received for the logo while 1310 entries for the Emblem with a tagline.

Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) organised a contest on MyGov to coin an innovative tagline for the nationwide movement for conservation of petroleum products.

Spreading Christmas cheer this season, MyGov hosted an e-Greetings contest and invited citizens to help the best designs win by sharing selected e-Greetings published in the E-greetings site.

People’s participation for Designing a Logo and Coin a Tagline was sought for ‘Namami Gange program’ through MyGov Platform. More than 2100 responses for tagline & more than 800 entries for Logo were received under the contest till the closing date on 31st December 2014. National Mission for Clean Ganga thank all the participants and wish everyone a Very Happy New Year 2015. Winners for both the contests will be declared shortly.
