A Humble Appeal to Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji
As a hardworking student from the General category, I often feel deeply disheartened. Despite putting in endless hours of effort, many of us don’t get good job opportunities or college seats—not because we lack merit, but because the number of seats for us is extremely limited.
It is painful when we see that the same marks which are not enough for us are considered sufficient under reservation quotas. This creates a sense of helplessness and frustration among many deserving students. Slowly, they start losing faith in the value of education itself.
We respect equality. We support upliftment. But we believe real equality should mean equal opportunities for all—based on talent, not category.
Respected Modiji, we request you with folded hands: Kindly reconsider the existing reservation and quota system. Let merit shine. Let talent lead. Let every student, no matter their background, feel that hard work is rewarded fairly.
